Great drive-in food at a classic drive-in that's still in operation. One of very few still open. Worth the drive. Don't forget a t-shirt!
Went there on a Monday night, two cars in the lot but earlier it had been busy so we thought we'd give it a try. Good root beer. Lousy service and food was sub par. Took over 30 minutes to get our food and it was basic - hot ham n cheese and cheese burger. Food was barely warm when we received it, as if it had been sitting there. We were really looking forward to eating here but it let us down big time.
Fun place to eat. Old fashioned service as the waitresses come to your car to serve you. They still flip the tray of food to your cars window. Kids love it.
I have been going to tomahawk for over 20 years. This place is always a must when we are there. The root beer is amazing and I love the burgers!
Best BBQ and grilled Chicken sandwich.in the area. We live 20 miles away and go there about once a week for this and back home. Highly recommend Dog 'n Suds.
